Q: What’s your favorite quote/mantra?

“A single bracelet does not jingle” – Congolese Proverb

Q: Who would you most like to swap places with for the day?

My pet bunnies! I would love to have a day where I challenge myself to communicate solely via body language (and the bun-naps would be a plus). 🐰

Q: What is something people in your industry/niche have to deal with that you want to fix?

Nonprofit organizations typically collect large amounts of data to meet internal and external reporting needs, yet rarely have the data collection tools and systems in place to tell the full, rich story of the work they do and the impact they have on communities. One of my favorite things to say is “let the robots do it,” because I have a passion for designing automated, custom database systems for nonprofit organizations. I see a huge opportunity to leverage affordable low/no-code tools to help advance nonprofit evaluation capacity growth.

Q: What are your hobbies?

My hobbies tend to center around my love of nature. I love hiking, camping, kayaking, but also love taking my “indoor” passions to the outdoors—such as playing instruments, writing, painting, etc.

Q: Tell us something we don’t know about you.

I am working on an Afrofuturist book trilogy! My family and I immigrated to the United States when I was six years old and my lived experience as an African immigrant ingrained in me a passion to explore social issues through the multifaceted lenses of power, privilege, and oppression.

Q: Describe your job in 3 words.

Q: What do you appreciate most about working at ResultsLab?

There is nothing quite like waking up to do what you love every day. As a systems thinker, I have always been drawn to understanding the connections between things, and how these things behave and interact, to understand the whole. As an Impact Consultant, I use this skill daily, collaborating with my team and our clients to turn insights into action.
