Internal Organizational Commitment
Inward Attention
Turning our attention inward by assessing how our own business practices contribute to equitable and just outcomes, including HR practices and vendor selections.
Diverse Workforce
Investing in a more diverse future of the research and evaluation field by building capacity within organizations to use data for impact and empowering individuals through training and learning opportunities.
Internal Diversity
Embracing and celebrating our own internal diversity, as individuals with unique backgrounds, experiences, talents and thoughts that are assets when thinking through unique solutions to ongoing challenges.
At ResultsLab, we believe when making decisions that will affect our communities, we should always include the perspectives of those affected by the outcomes. Elevating voices and lived experiences of individuals affected by inequities will strengthen communities and create a more just future for all. We work with social good organizations to build capacity for this informed decision-making and are inclusive in our approach. We use intentional inquiry, continuous learning, and equitable practices to explore new ideas and solutions to drive greater impact. We are on our own journey in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice efforts as an organization and are committed to continuously examining how our own social identities shape our worldview and actions and reflect on and adjust our beliefs and practices to best serve our communities. We commit to remaining open, considerate, genuine, and collaborative as we continue to learn and grow.

- frees us from our assumptions and biases
- helps us build better relationships

If you want to shift control from funders to communities, here are 5 recommendations from field and community leaders about what it takes to recognize and resource frontline strength and leadership
1. Be responsive to the way people and movements organize themselves.
2. Support organizational capacity, as well as the capacity of individuals, networks, and coalitions
3. Make space for divergence and debate in movements, rather than force consensus and uniformity.
4. Ask your partners what they need to be healthy and present in their work.
5. Provide long-term, flexible (general operating) resources at a level that allows leaders to dream, build, implement, and realize the change they seek.
